Growing up in Calgary, Alberta, Gabby competed in many sports, including ski jumping, cross country skiing, soccer, and cross country running. She began cycling at the age of 15, racing in all disciplines. Shortly after, she was selected for the 2015 UCI Road World Championships as a first-year junior. For the next two years, Gabby would focus on road racing, eventually moving to France in 2019.

In 2023, while on a training ride, Gabby was hit by a car and suffered severe facial and leg injuries. While this event certainly proved challenging to overcome, her drive to succeed was unphazed, and even prompted a change in direction.

For 2024, Gabby is committed to racing Gravel and Endurance events full-time. Her skills and experience from road racing will no doubt make her a force to be reckoned with.
